Camp del Cielo Meteorite was discovered at the junction of the province of Chaco, Argentina and the province of Santiago del Estro.  It is about 1000km from Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.  The Campo del Cielo Meteorite is scattered in a 3 x 20 km area, forming at least 26 craters, with the largest measuring 377 feet x 298 feet.  The crater and surrounding area was discovered and reported by local indigenous people in 1576.  The total weight is known to exceed 100 tons, the largest of which is 37 tons, making it the second largest ferroniobium in the world. 

Included: One meteorite.  Each piece has been specially coated with a protectant to prevent damage of nickel to the skin.

All orders are processed within 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.  Orders are shipped from Concord, New Hampshire. You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped.

Domestic Shipping Rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated based on weight and will be displayed at checkout.  Orders will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground.

We do not provide estimated delivery timeframes for Armed Forces addresses. Please plan on at least several weeks for delivery.
